Time travelling - Tasmania
I was looking through some photos from a long weekend we spent in Tasmania in January. I love this island so much and I am thinking when we could go back to explore other parts of it. It is a mix of photos of the four days we had there and mostly spend outside.
You can find some more photos here, here and here.

The Huntington Gardens I
One day during our time in Los Angeles we went to the Huntington Gardens in Pasadena. We spent hours there and it was easily one of my highlights during our trip to California earlier this year. There are four different gardens and as beautiful the Japanese, Chinese and Australian gardens were the desert garden just blew me away. There were cacti, palm trees, succulents in all forms, sizes and more. I loved all the different shades of brown and green and I dream of going back to LA to spend more time there wandering around. I have quiet a few more photos of this place and will post more here or think of a little project with them. If you happen to be in LA make sure you check out these gardens, you won't regret it. You can also find some images I took in my print shop.

SF - a few random photos
A few randoms I found from our trip to San Francisco. What a beautiful city it is, wish I could stroll around the different neighbourhoods there and have a great meal at Bar Tartine.
You can find an interview with me on Indre's inspiring blog MiMa.

A Winter day
It was one of these days today where I woke up and saw the sun rays getting through the dark clouds of the night. After some rainy weeks, this week has been pretty good with blue skys and lots of sun so I went for an early run. Running through streets, where I saw cafes opening up and getting ready for the day, I ran further towards the Botanic Gardens which is one of my favourite runs, along the water, to the Opera House and back, saying hi to my own shade ...it was such a good way to start the day.
We both came home earlier, sat on the couch talking about the day, reading and after a while moved into the kitchen to prepare the pasta w/ yogurt, peas and chilly from the Jerusalem cookbook. I saw that Molly wrote about it recently as well (recipe). It was delicious and a perfect Friday evening meal. While doing the dishes we were singing loudly to this song and....now the tea kettle is whislting....Have a great weekend, Maria

Stahl House
On our last day in Los Angeles some weeks back, we took the chance and had a look at the great Stahl House in the Hollywood Hills.
It was a foggy day and I could only imagine how amazing the view must be on a clear day, which we had so many of them while being there. However this grey weather just invited a bit more to dream about, how it would be to live in such an amazing space, to look at the lights of the city during the night or to swim in the pool overlooking this city trying to find its end. A magical atmosphere.
