At the Isar

While the temperatures keep on dropping outside I came across this little series of photos I took this Summer when we went to the Isar on a Sunday afternoon exploring ....

Lake Starnberg

We feel very lucky that there are so many nice lakes around Munich which you can reach within an hour or two.

So what felt to be the last warm weekend of Summer we drove out to Lake Starnberg and found a little place where we could hang out, look at the water, through stones (for Matilda) and eat some leftover rice salad from the day before.

Sydney Opera House

A few days before we left Australia I went to see one last time the Opera House. I love this building and I took my Leica with a black and white film in it to shoot a few shots of her. Well, little did I know that it would take me almost 1,5 years to fill up that film. It was so nice to see these snaps. What a great building!

Some more spots in Sydney

Being on holidays in Sydney felt a little weird when we were there earlier this year. We lived there for five years and know the city quite well and to be 'just' a visitor for a week stressed me before we arrived as I knew I wouldn't be able to go all the spots I fell in love with during our time there. Luckily Matilda took care of all this, we just had to do things a lot slower naturally so we picked carefully where to go and also stayed most days at home for a nice midday nap (mainly for Matilda). This city is so great. And looking at those photos makes me want to go back and see and hang out with all our friends there. Why oh why is it so far away, oh my!

After two days in Hobart, we drove up the East Coast of Tasmania to spend the rest of the week in Orford, in a small house close to the sea. It was a little over cast when we arrived but we should have so much sun for the rest of our time there. I love Tasmania and I am already looking forward to a trip in the future.
