A few randoms I found from our trip to San Francisco. What a beautiful city it is, wish I could stroll around the different neighbourhoods there and have a great meal at Bar Tartine.
Some more corners.
And there were so so many more, such as a wonderful dinner we had at Bar Tartine, the wonderful Garry Winogrand exhibition we saw at SF Moma, Dave Egger's Pirate Store in the Mission district, the wonderful supermarket Bi-Rite in which we got some food for a picknick at Dolores Park before we left the city for our trip to the Big Sur and many more.
I am thinking a lot about our wonderful holidays we had in California. The blue sky, bright days and days of wandering through streets, going to museums, eating good food and finding wonderful stores to look around
One of these beautiful places we visited in San Francisco was the General Store.
On our first day and on our last. This wonderful store is very close to the water and sells a beautiful range of things. Both times we had a great chat to the girl who was working in there, were looking through their products and were amazed about the beautiful garden they had created in the back of the store. So many great little corners with succulents and native flowers, a little garden house with plants in it and a table which had shells from the beach lying on it and a little bunch of grasses.
We got two of the screen posters in one of the images and I can't wait to get them framed to put them up in our kitchen.
Some more corners and streets of our stay in San Francisco. I hope you enjoy going on little walks with me. I see sometimes little things which grab my attention and when I see them later on the developed film I wonder if anyone else than me is actually interested in seeing them.
When I see the photos from San Francisco I wish I would have had more time to explore!
San Francisco is a beautiful city and I could move there in a heartbeat.
I was wandering around on my own on the first day. Strolling through the streets with its beautiful Victorian houses, stopping so many times to admire the coulurs of those, whole street blocks or just an unique facade of a house. I caught up with a friend to have lunch and delicious ice cream at Smitten around Hayes Valley.
I saw some really great places in SF also thanks to Ida's beautiful blog which was a great inspiration.
