Tasmania

Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania Tasmania

Tasmania is a jewel and I fell in love with this island when we first went in November 2011. Back then we went on a day trip to Bruny Island which is an island south of Hobart. As we liked it so much there we decided to stay a whole long weekend on this island this time.
We stayed in a little cottage close to the water in the middle of nowhere, it was so quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed it so much. It was one of the four most relaxing days I had a in a long time. I read two books, ate fantastic food, hiked up and down hills, through the beautiful bush landscape, collected native Australian flowers, went for evening swims, beach walks, spoke to locals and just had the most fantastic time there.
The nature in Tasmania is so incredible beautiful. On our hikes or driving around the island I adored the many colours of bushes, flowers, grass and  form of trees.
I took lots of photos and I hope you are ready for a few posts about this trip :)

#1-3 Eating fresh oysters at the beach
#4/5 landscape
#6/7 Our little cottage and the view outside the window
#8/11 Beach close by

Enjoy!

Having all that extra time to read and have/share great meals sounds so luxurious.
