Meran - South Tyrol II

Some more Summer photos from our time in Meran, South Tyrol. I wish I could stroll through those cute streets with an ice cream in my hands right now.

Meran - South Tyrol I

On our way to Lake Como we stopped in Meran, South Tyrol to spend a few days which is right between Austria and Italy which is why most of the people there speak German and Italian. I must have used a super old film and some got a bit of a funny tone, but I guess that is what you can get with using film :) On other news, I got a new AE-1 at the flea market today for 25EUR, lucky me!

Mountains

I really enjoy being surrounded by mountains, it brings back so many memories from my childhood when I spent some weeks in summer camps climbing up mountains and swimming in icy cold mountain lakes.
On our way to Lake Como we stayed for a few days in Meran in South Tyrol. The drive there from Munich was so stunning and we had to stop every now and then to enjoy the marvelous views and to breathe in the fresh air.

Tide Café

The Tide café is a wonderful place in the heart of Ottensen with great food and drinks and a wonderful interior. I spent many hours in Summer with dear friends outside the café, drinking some rhubarb juice and eating some of their delicious cakes or other great snacks.

Northern Sea

Oh this August has been amazing!
Summer in general has been really good to us and we were waiting for it so badly after our arrival from Australia last November. We spent the last weeks with friends, outside, swimming, at the beach, lakes....I am waiting to get five rolls of film developed so I can show you what we have been up to. So long, this photo is from the Northern Sea where we went on a Sunday in the beginning of August.
