I like photos without people, mainly because I take them too =)

In so einer Stadt Fotos ohne Touristen zu machen ist doch bestimmt eine Kunst :) und die Bilder sind toll. Diese Fassaden auf denen man die Zeit liest...ich freue mich schon auf Sizilien im September!
Tolle Bilder! Ich war auch gerade in Venedig und war ganz überzuckert von der Stadt.

I agree, calming and wonderful. Venice is one of my favourite places - is that the Peggy Guggenheim? I remember it having the most lovely garden...
Yes, I agree! I didn't realize it until you mentioned there are no people in it.
I hardly ever take photos of people and most of the time I don't even realize it until I get the rolls developed. I was in Venice in September 2010 and it was packed with tourists! Then I saw my photos and it looked like we were walking in the quietest of towns :)
