Oh my, I am so excited. I just finished sewing my very first piece of garment which I am actually planning to wear.
I started yesterday in the morning, copied the pattern, cut out the pieces, slowly going from one step to the next and took the time to do everything slowly to avoid making mistakes I usually tend to do as I am sometimes so impatient.

The pattern is from Jenny and I got the Liberty fabric last week here in Sydney. It so soft and beautiful to sew. I am so happy with it and can't wait to wear it out the first time.

So, now I am thinking, what's next! :)

I just started reading what jana wrote and thought I was going crazy. Just for a moment. As I only know how to read english. Just wanted to say very impressive handiwork lady! Gorgeous top. Now we just need to weather to wear it! (I'm in Sydney too) Kellie xx

Well done you talented thing! Looks great :) I inherited four boxes of fabric from my grandma's neighbour, I need to do the same. You've inspired me to get cracking, I just don't know where to start.

Bin schon gespannt, was du als nächstes machst!

Just discovered your blog via a pin on pinterest (i think?) and was so excited to scroll through and see this post! I've had Jenny tank pattern sitting on the shelf in my studio for way too long, you've inspired me to finally make this. I love the fabric you chose :)

Just found your blog via the wiksten flickr pool and this is one of the prettiest wiksten tops I've seen. Great fabric and it looks beautifully made. I got to this pattern too late and just missed out on buying one before Wiksten stopped selling them...I'm looking for it everywhere, so if you EVER want to sell it, I'd gladly buy. Can't wait to see what you sew next. xx
