Just wanted to say a quick hi and wish you a happy weekend. After some stormy and rather cool days, Summer is supposed to come back next week. Just in time for our little trip to Denmark. Have a good one friends, Maria

Copenhagen 2015
"
While Wills parents visited us from Australia in June we went to Copenhagen with them for a few days. I have been quite a few times to see friends but it is always so great to come back. Highlight again was our trip to the modern museum Lousiana (1st and 2nd photo). Such a great place!

Summer I
The last days have been so nice and warm here in Germany. We have waited for the warmer weather for quite some time and now it is finally here and we really want to make the most of it.
I love the feeling of the wind and air on my bare arms and legs. Matilda and I are spending most of our days outside, walking or me carrying her, enjoying the tickle of the sun on our face, meeting friends, wandering through the streets of Hamburg. We look forward to this weekend, just because there are no plans and that can be pretty nice sometimes.
Above photos are from our trip to Copenhagen a few weeks back.

Botanical Gardens Copenhagen
We went to Copenhagen in the beginning of June to stay there for a few days and and visited the beautiful Botanical Gardens with its wonderful glasshouse from 1874.
In the glasshouse you can find all kinds of palm trees, ferns and other beautiful plants and you can even go up a few staircases to look at them from above, even though the air gets warmer and warmer with every step you go up and I wasn't able to be that high up for very long.
Hope you enjoy these two snaps.
Maria

Two photos I took in my aunties garden when I was back home in the South of Germany a few weeks back.
Things I enjoy lately:
The new Dawes album, particularly the song 'don't send me away'
Ryan Adams live album at Carnegie Hall - it is just a masterpiece.
I enjoy Susanne's recipes and food photography so much
Love Anna's new work
Mieke's wonderful Italy photos (can't wait for the film shots)

Bauhaus Archive Berlin
Last months we spent a few days in Berlin when Wills parents were here to visit us.
Berlin in Summer is really something else. The city is buzzing and the day doesn't seem to have enough hours to do all the things you want to do (or eat) :) We stayed in Mitte which made it very easy for us as to get around and also to check out all the great places we were surrounded by.
One day we took a bus to the Bauhaus Archive museum which is located close to the Tiergarten.
