More Summer food

Summer food

Summer food

I am still having unpacked boxes all over my little room and thought I share some Summer food images with you.

#1 One of my favorite things in Summer is to have some bread with fresh cucumber, chive, and raddhishes
#2 The breakfast with Summer fruits
#3 Summer also means lots of fresh basil and this is one of the great meals we make, pasta, home-made pesto with boiled potatoes and squash
#4 This is a great recipe from the amazing 'Plenty' cookbook from Ottolenghi. Lentils w/ carrot, celery, coriander, baked eggplant and yoghurt - so good

In english you say home-made not self-made. Seems to be one of the mistakes I always see on German blogs :P

Wow. You eat well! I'm going to hunt down that cookbook. Thanks for the tip. xx Ps I find that radishes have a stronger taste in Oz than in Germany. IS there a special type I can buy here that is more 'peppery'?

thanks so much for all your nice comments. I enjoy summer and its produce so much here in Australia. I am not a veggie, but I am also not a big meat eater, I prefer all the great veggie-meals :)
