7 things

7 things

Nicole tagged and asked me to tell you seven things you don't know about me....well, I am sure there are many things you don't know....here are a couple I thought of...

- I used to play the trumpet for many years, I remember how I loved to play the second voice - I sometimes really miss playing an instrument and still have many melodies in my head. I would love to be able to play the clarinet, it can be such a happy and sad instrument
- My older brother and I had these kids fights about everything when we were little, one day I kicked him so badly that I broke my foot
- I didn't like to eat raw tomatoes for a long long time...but now I just love the smell of the first fresh tomatoes in Summer
- When I am really cold it can happen that I sleep with my wool hat as I just love to have a warm head
- I never had long hair - ever! (when I was little many people thought I was a boy)
- I was quiet a wild student in school and my parents often got calls from my teachers back then due to my behavior :) (which is now a lot better)
- In the last years I felt that I get more and more the need to create things. It gives me so much joy to sew, knit, do any sorts of crafting
- Also that I was living in big cities the last couple of years, I am a nature person at heart

actually these were 8 things about me you might have not known......

A good Wednesday to all of you...

Maria

Trumpet, so good dear Maria. Just last week in a concert I thought what a difference a trumpet makes to music.

And tomatoes. Just ate two as an afternoon snack. It can happen that I eat two kilos or even more a week. Just like that or accompanied with bread or in salad.

Windy greetings!

I played the clarinet for 2 years, and I loved its melancholy sound...

so fun to read! i laughed when i read about the fight and the broken foot, hahaha. once my sister and i were home alone and we fought so much that a neighbour called the police ;) it was horrible then, but now i laugh about it.

I love these little revelation things, it's nice to know you a little better through them.
Also, I still have a scar on my thigh where my sister once scratched me. Oh how we used to fight!

you broke your foot?? crazy! did your brother think you deserved your foot being broken because you kicked him? ;)

Lovely things, thanks for sharing :)... the one about the kids fights with your older brother sounds so familiar... well I didn't brake my foot but you know what I mean... :) and I've had short hair all my childhood and I remember one summer when I had really short one lots of people thought I was a boy... :)

oh, and I still don't eat raw tomatoes...

Haha, I had those kind of fights with my brother too. One day he went to kick me, missed, and broke his toe on the couch. It was my fault, of course!

i know all about those fights with unnamed brothers! too bad younger brothers inevitably grow bigger and stronger.

snap!

one time my brother and i were kicking each other and i broke (well, fractured) my leg!

embarrassing but true, but i'm glad that there's someone else who has done this!

ps. the smell of tomatoes is divine, but i love the smell of the tomato bushes even more...that to me is the smell of summer :)
