Hamburg - Café Johanna

The weekend in Hamburg went by so quickly, but I had a wonderful time catching up with lovely friends and places I miss. I was pressing my nose to the window of the train while entering Hamburg. It is so wonderful to get into the city like this, to see the harbor, the houses.....
One of the first stops on Friday was Cafe Johanna. Such a beautiful place. I like that it is located off the busy spots and that you can sit there for hours, eating good food and just enjoying yourself.

between - a Winter walk II

Some more photos of a long walk in Sydney Winter the other day. It is so interesting right now being back in Germany and in a different season to see the differences between the countries, the season, the light and the colors....


Life is good here, I am eating cherries, enjoying the sun and catching up with people. I am getting super excited about the weekend as I will go up to see friends in Hamburg. For those of you who follow this space for a while now know how much I loved to live in this beautiful city....Can't wait to go back.....

Also that I am not in Sydney at the moment, these photos were left from my last roll and I wanted to show them to you before there will be lots of photos from my time here. Sydney can be so beautiful in Winter. These were taken on a long, long walk the other Saturday.

I will hopefully soon take my camera out here to take photos of the wonderful landscape around me, the colors are very different and so familiar, also the Summer light is just not the same compare to Australia. 

A Summer dinner at her garden

It is Summer here and on the day I landed I visited my aunty and her garden again. We made a beautiful pasta and enjoyed a warm Summer evening. I forgot how amazing it is to sit outside till 10.30pm and it is still quiet bright.
