The other day I had the great pleasure to visit Laura Jones in her wonderful studio in an old warehouse in Alexandria here in Sydney.
I was so happy to have the chance to look at some of Laura's paintings and to also take some photos in the space she creates most of her work. I remember that I didn't want to move a thing and just tried to capture her studio how she had left it last. There were so many things to look at, however my attention was caught by her recent work, the flower paintings. They are so beautiful, have a look here to see why I adore them so much.
Laura is going to exhibit her beautiful work in a solo show at Maunsell Wickes Gallery which runs for two weeks starting this Friday.
Thanks Laura, I had such a great couple of hours on that Sunday morning, looking at your work and sitting on your couch and having tea and chatting along.
