Oh it was a long week. I am so glad its Friday evening. 
We just made a nice dinner and are watching a fire work from our couch which is happening at the harbor right now. 
I took these three photos to fill up a roll last week. On Wednesday we went and saw the Francis Bacon  exhibtion and it was really great, I especially liked the strong colors in many of his paintings! 
The last photo shows the flower shop next to our apartment. It is such small but beautiful shop, very often in the morning when I leave the house, they get their delivery and the whole pavement is full of flowers....

Happy weekend to everyone...It's supposed to be a hot weekend and I can't wait to go for some swims ...

Another corner

This is the small sun room in our apartment. It is one of my favorite corners. We get such wonderful light in the morning, can see a glimpse of the harbour and its ships and feel the breeze coming through during open window. 

I am looking forward to sitting there and

Despite the fact that the city is getting more and more colorful I decided to shoot a black and white film which was laying around here for a while...I still think the beauty of the beach comes through very well.

Heimat I

'Heimat' is a German word which sort of means home. 
While flicking through some photos I took during my time back in July I came across these. Taken on warm Summer day, while driving through the countryside where I grew up....
