Can I tell you about the most wonderful concert I have been to last night. I saw Youth Lagoon and it was absolutely magical. Please listen to maybe Afternoon or Posters and then to the whole album to realize that every track is beautiful.

A walk through the neighborhood

It was a great weekend full of sunshine and music. I took the camera out for a walk through my neighborhood on Saturday

The festival on Sunday was wonderful, so much good music. I wanted to share a couple of songs of the bands I saw and liked with you.

However my absolute highlight of the festival was M83. It was a hot summer night it couldn't have ended better....

Still so much rain here in Sydney and so less time for my camera and walks outside.

I am planning to go to the Laneway Festival here in Sydney and I look forward to hearing many great acts, such as Toro Y Moi, Feist, Active Child, Washed Out or M83...Last week I saw the Tuneyards and Whitest Boy Alive, both concerts were truly amazing.

Last morning in Tokyo - Rose Bakery

I only had a couple of hours on my last morning in Tokyo and after I saw that the National Arts Muesum is closed I decided to go back to Nakameguro for an early morning walk. After enjoying the quietness of the backstreets on a Sunday morning there I took the train to go to the Rose Bakery cafe which happens to be in one of the Comme des Garcon shops in Tokyo. The design of the shop is so clean and beautiful and I loved to sit there and watch people coming into the shop/store, while beautiful coffee (can you see the latte art: the infamous Comme des Garcon heart-eyes) and the best carrot cake I ever had, seriously ever!
