Monday surprise ...

How nice to have a Monday off...

I spent the whole weekend at this festival for work...and it was quiet exhausting and I didn't get so much sleep so I enjoyed having this Monday off and getting lots of sleep, drinking tea, eating cake and sitting on the balcony in the sun with my friend and getting some great new magazines to read.
I missed out getting the first issues of the Apartamento magazines and Will organized them for me. I was quiet happy when the postman rang at my door today having them in his hands..I can't wait to read in them...

I am listening to some of the music right now which I saw live on the weekend. Oh and I got this small rabbit pin there too...check their shop they make such great illustrations...

Hope you are all well!

It was a week with long working-hours and not so good night-sleeps. I look forward to a nice quiet weekend, sleep ins, catching up with friends for coffees, doing all sorts of things I feel like to do...

Tonight I will cook some nice dinner with friends.

I wish you all a great weekend.

Hearblack.

Nate&Katie from Hearblack sent me this beautiful gift

Hearblack

When I came home from my trip on Sunday night I opened the mailbox and found a little envelope in it.
Nate & Katie from the beautiful blog Hearblack sent me a couple of gorgeous cards with the nicest wrapping.

Sometimes when things are wrapped up this nice it takes a while for me to open them as I just like to look at it and don't really want to destroy it. Well, I finally opened it ...

Thank you so much you two for your wonderful cards, I love them. Especially the one with the feather on it.
(I will think of something nice for you. Check your mailbox)

29°

My grandmothers palms in her yard...
I have been at my parents place for the weekend and had the best strawberries ....
My parents grow asparagus ...and during the season we eat all sorts of asparagus dishes...I wish every year to be there every day than : )
It was Summer this weekend and I spent it at my parents place in the south of Germany - wearing shorts all day.
I always realize down there how fast a weekend can actually go by...in one moment you run out of work to catch the train down there and suddenly you sit in the train again, hearing the noises of shutting doors and suddenly being on your way back...
I was thinking today that I sometimes wish to be a child again, having plenty of time for doing things or seeing people like sitting next to my grandmother or sister chatting and knowing tomorrow I could just do the same thing again without thinking about time at all...
But living away from home and just being back for a couple of days every now and than sometimes brings me into this time-conflict in which I just try to see all the people I would like to share time with when I am there...which is often in two days not that easy and can make me sad

Time became such a precious thing over the last years...

- I hope you all had a wonderful weekend with lots of time for everything you love to spend time with..
I had some great strawberries and yummy asparagus salad and did spend my time with dear friends and family...

I had friends visiting me on the weekend and we were out all Saturday enjoying the sun and the blue sky.

#1 Started the day with my Saturday addiction and had a blueberry, cinnamon and pear Franzbrötchen and also the first strawberries...hmm
#2 We just walked along the neighbourhoods and stumbled over an yellow arrow and found....
#3 this beautiful studio open. These two ladies make really great shirts, dresses, scarves and curtains with some beautiful screen-prints on them..
#4 We kept on walking had ice-cream and ended up at the flea market to look at all the nice little stalls and the things they were selling...I saw this Hamburg photobook from the 70's and became a bit melancholy while looking through it...I will miss this city...
#5 I needed to take a picture of this sign of an old furniture store...

Have a wonderful week
