Another corner

A corner at home
A corner at home
A corner at home
A corner at home

This is the small sun room in our apartment. It is one of my favorite corners. We get such wonderful light in the morning, can see a glimpse of the harbour and its ships and feel the breeze coming through during open window.

I am looking forward to sitting there and

>>I find this space very inspiring.

Another dinner - Same garden

You know the space already from a couple of prior posts.
Above are moments from another Summer night back home, we made a great lentil soup with lots of herbs and veggies and had a great piece of Austrian hand made cheese for dessert.

I landed in Sydney this morning. I have so many great memories from the last six weeks I and will be thinking about them a lot in the next weeks. It is a beautiful Winters day here today so I might go out for a walk now thinking about great Summer nights in beautiful gardens with great company....

It is Summer here and on the day I landed I visited my aunty and her garden again. We made a beautiful pasta and enjoyed a warm Summer evening. I forgot how amazing it is to sit outside till 10.30pm and it is still quiet bright.
Good to be back!

A quick hello from me with some photos I took in my auntie's garden when I was back home the other week. It is like an oasis, I love to sit there and read or watch her cat lying in the sun. It is a beautiful, beautiful place.....

Merry Christmas to you all.

It is very grey here in Germany and and not as snowy as it was last time I spent Christmas here. I have a great time - meeting people, reading, drinking tea and eating my way through the Christmas cookies at my grandmother's place..

Thank you so much for your lovely birthday wishes.

I hope you have a wonderful time...

on film

Spring
in my mum's garden
lion
from boxes
A walk
In the forest
in the forest
an old wine bar
on the market

I see the blossoms of the trees everywhere and they are so beautiful that I always tend to take pictures of them. They are something you wait for when the Winter doesn't seem to end. I didn't have the feeling this year...but I still appreciate them so much, these delicate blossoms..

I have my pentax with me here at home and I hope I can capture some of the moments here to look at them when I am back in Australia

# 1 A tree in my parents garden
#2 A beautiful flower in my mums little garden. I always loved their shape and remember that as a kid I pressed the hearts with my fingers and they made little noises as if they keep air in them
#3 I passed that lion my sister made when she was in kindergarten and it hangs there every since she brought it home. When you are away for a while and come back you realize so many things which have always been there but suddenly grab your attention. Like familiar noises, such as certain corners in the house make when you walk on wooden floorboards or open a door...or the birds which sing so differently here than they do in Australia
#4 I stumbled over this box in which I kept letters, notes or all sorts of things..it was like finding a treasure box
#5/6/7 these are from the walk through the near forest with my sister. The forest was so green and glowing with the sun making its way through the trees
#8 In the city - one of the old wine bars
#9 The weekly market in the city

I wish you all some nice and relaxing days off....

take care
