On a Saturday

back from the marketUntitledLunchUntitled

I love Saturdays and our market visits. At the moment I get particularly excited as all the summer fruits and vegetables are slowly getting back to them. Four photos from a Saturday, of things we bought at the markets, one of my favourite lunches and the couch on which I love to read in the afternoons....

Hope you all had a great weekend.

Random

UntitledBlack Star Bakery - Sydney

The last roll of film I took is full of random little shots.
I remember, that it took my quiet long to get the roll full and now when I look through the photos from different days and moments, it is so nice to think back to all of them. These two where taken on a Saturday when we went to Newtown to have a coffee at the Black Star Bakery, an amazing little cafe which makes super tasty pastries. After we got our sugar kick we went for a long walk around the neighbourhood, this is when I took the other photo. Yes, love often is the answer :)

Hope you all have a great weekend.

A walk

A Saturday WalkUntitledUntitled
UntitledUntitledUntitledUntitled

The other Saturday I went for a walk. The sun was shining and it was really quiet warm for an early Spring day. The streets were empty, the red bottle brushes were glowing in the sun, the cats were sun bathing in front of the front doors and music was coming through open windows of the people's houses who live in that neighbourhood. I remember coming home from this walk very happy that is probably also why I am so very fond of the photos I took then.

Cibi - Melbourne

There are so many great places to explore in Melbourne but some places I look forward to going to whenever I have the chance to visit this great city. Cibi is one of them. It is such a calm and bright place. A place you can bring a book and read without feeling the hectic of a city and a place to have fantastic food. I recommend the Japanese breakfast they offer on weekends. It is so delicious. Some photos from my first visit here

Hi everyone,
Thank you so much for all your comments on my last post. I will show you soon some more spots of our apartment.

Here are some snaps from last Sunday when we went to the beach. It was so warm and beautiful in the sun so I decided to go for my first swim this Spring. The water was freezing but oh it was refreshing. I can't wait for my early morning swims, I think I'll start this routine very soon again.

It is Spring here in Sydney.

I am listening to a lot of new music lately, also thanks to Spotify I feel like I am coming across all sorts of new artists but also music I remember that I loved and I hurry up to make sure to add all these tracks to my playlist to treasure them.

I also realize that I don't know so many lyrics by heart anymore like I did a couple of years ago. I would know every track by name of a favorite CD of mine, would also know their order and already know by the end of a song what the next one will be.

At the moment I like to be surprised when I listen to music, don't want to get bored, I am curious about new sounds and bands but also go back in time when I listen to beloved old songs and sometimes wonder how I could forget about them.

The other Sunday we had lunch at a new-ish place in Marickville called Cornersmith. I had a great beetroot sandwich there and an even better apple ricotta muffin (which I couldn't take a photo off as we ate too fast) :)

The weeks are flying by again and it is Spring here in Sydney now and Summer seems just right around the corner. I can't wait to go for my early morning swims very soon.

We are so happy after moving into our new place and I hope I can soon show you some photos of the new apartment, I might take some photos on the weekend.
