A street in Sydney

A street in Sydney / very cats friendly

A street in Sydney

I found this street the other day here in Sydney which might be the greenest and most cat friendly one I have seen so far (how great is this cat image).

A street which was filled with pot plants, fairy lights hanging from one house to the next, with open doors and you could hear laughters or conversations coming out of the houses, cats lying on the street warming themselves on the warm asphalt, birds sitting up heigh watching the scene and neighbors chatting to each other...I think the pictures can't really capture the great vibe of this street.

Thank you so much for your comments on my last post...

Surry Hills on a Saturday

Surry Hills
Tokyo Bike
Bistrode / Surry Hills

Sometimes it can take a week or even longer until I get a film in my camera full. On Saturday it almost only took me 2 hours....I saw so much while I was in Surry Hills..

#1 The house with the growing plants
#2 Tokyo bikes
#3 Bistrode
#4 ...
#5/6/7 The infamous Bourke Street Bakery
#8 Just loved this green corner ...
#9 .. and this yellow mail box

I love shooting film and enjoy it so much. On my trip to Tasmania in November last year I found another Pentax at the Salamanca Markets. This time a lot lighter and newer than the old one I used to use - for only $20 I was so happy to call it mine. The photos above are from the first roll I shot with it.

Another try to take photos with the pentax indoors, this time the film seems to have some overlapping 'issues'...I like them anyway :)
#1 Glück und Liebe (luck and love) is all you need
#2 Postcard from Mona showing Balint Zsako artwork
#3 A beautiful bag from Aesop
#4 On my last day in Tokyo I got this tote bag at the Comme des Garcon shop

Can I tell you about the most wonderful concert I have been to last night. I saw Youth Lagoon and it was absolutely magical. Please listen to maybe Afternoon or Posters and then to the whole album to realize that every track is beautiful.

Happy Friday.

It was a great weekend full of sunshine and music. I took the camera out for a walk through my neighborhood on Saturday

The festival on Sunday was wonderful, so much good music. I wanted to share a couple of songs of the bands I saw and liked with you.

However my absolute highlight of the festival was M83. It was a hot summer night it couldn't have ended better....

Still so much rain here in Sydney and so less time for my camera and walks outside.

>> Hopefully the weather will be better on the weekend. I am planning to go to the Laneway Festival here in Sydney and I look forward to hearing many great acts, such as Toro Y Moi, Feist, Active Child, Washed Out or M83...Last week I saw the Tuneyards and Whitest Boy Alive, both concerts were truly amazing.

How are you - any good music you were listening to lately?

Four images I took in Perth.
